I download windows 10 from here. The now I need an activation key but my windows 7 activation key doesn't work. Please help! There is no Product key for Windows 10 free Upgrade. Well I can't personalize anything because it keeps asking me to activate with activation pin. Like you said, I should redownload windows 10 and leave the activation pin blank and it should work? The free Upgrade must be run from Windows 7 or 8. Then it can be reinstalled later and will reactivate. If not try right clicking the Start button, open Admin Command Prompt, type slui 4. Follow the prompts to do the activation robocall. If it fails stay on the line to speak with an agent and explain the situation.
They may help you activate it. If not you may need to recover Windows 7 from your backup or Clean Reinstall Windows 7 , deleting all partitions during the booted install.
